jSpecView

jSpecview is a Wave, Spectrum and 2-fold Matrices viewer Program.

Waves, Spectra and 2-fold Matrices are called Data-Items (DI) The program can handle multiple DI, each DI is contained in a Spectrum Box.

DI Waves or Spectra are Vector Items (VI) and can be placed in the same screen view. Matrices can not be added to VI.

Each DI Box can contain the following data:

Every DI has its name displayed on a colored label.

Disk Waves and Spectra can reside anywhere in the file system with proper read permissions.

OPTool DI are calculated VI using as ingredients other DI.

OP DI have the name displayed in a Magenta color foreground.

Each Screen View handles Groups of Spectra and can have  3 different behaviors:

The groups can be displayed as arrays of selected number of Rows or Columns.

Other Display Options are available within the DISPLAY Menu.

The FILE Menu has the following sub-Menus:

Load Display Config Read the display layout from a saved file.
Save Display Config Save the display layout on a selected file;
Save Spectra Save Data Items on a selected directory.
Exit Quit jSpecview.

All available Wave-Readers (file and on-Line) can be started/stopped using the general Command SHIFT-S.

The readout can be stopped also every N Events per Run. During the readout operation the Panel update frequency is determined by a Panel Global parameter. Both the Update Event Number and the Event per Run Number can be defined to be the same for all Panels using the Menu Items in the DEFINE Menu.

Save Display Config is used to disk save a file with the description of the display layout. The display Config saves for each screen, the screen dimensions and name, the display options, the data items therein contained, the regions and disk Overlays.

Load Display Config reads the Display Configuration File a restores the Display layout.

Save Spectra saves only the content of spectra, not waves.

Save of the Overlay spectra is performed within the Panel PopUp Menu.

Once saved, OP spectra became a standard Disk file.
